World Food Forum Bangladesh organized a powerful workshop on “Bangladeshi Agrifood System: Mobilizing Resources for a Better Future” at Patuakhali Science and Technology University on 16th October.
Expert Insights
Dr. Md. Sajedul Hoque shared valuable ideas on marine food safety, reducing post-harvest loss, and protecting fishermen’s livelihoods.
Dr. Md. Ektear Uddin discussed climate-smart agriculture, policy development, and empowering rural women through the Climate School initiative.
The Q&A session turned into a lively knowledge exchange among students and experts.
Creativity in Action
An incredible session on the present and future of our country’s food production and consumption was conducted by Famin Jahan Ayshi. Based on that discussion, teams created and participated in a Transition Pathway Poster Competition on agrifood system challenges—turning ideas into visual solutions. 
Winners received books as prizes! 
The day ended not just with dinner, but with learning, inspiration, and hope for a better agrifood future for Bangladesh.
