Policy and Advocacy
The World Food Forum (WFF) Bangladesh Policy and Advocacy Program is a youth-led platform that empowers young people to actively participate in policy dialogue and decision-making on the challenges and opportunities shaping agrifood systems. It provides a structured and inclusive mechanism for youth to contribute meaningfully to agrifood systems governance and policy processes, ensuring that their perspectives inform local, national, regional, and global actions.
By convening a diverse network of stakeholders—including young farmers, young parliamentarians, Indigenous youth, civil society representatives, academic institutions, youth organizations, development partners, and local/national youth delegations—the Policy and Advocacy Program promotes inclusive participation, cross-sector collaboration, and intergenerational dialogue. Through these engagements, it strengthens youth leadership and amplifies the role of young people in shaping sustainable, resilient, and equitable agrifood systems for Bangladesh.
