Bangladesh is grappling with a serious plastic pollution problem stemming from the rampant use of single-use plastics and inadequate waste management. To address this problem and spread awareness among students, the World Food Forum Bangladesh National Chapter recently organized a workshop at Bangladesh Agricultural University. The workshop included a session on “Solutions to Plastic Pollution” led by the National Chapter Leader, Zannatun Naium Shoma. Over a hundred students from various universities took part in the workshop and shared their ideas and insights on how to tackle this critical issue best.
