World Food Forum Bangladesh

Delegation at Inception Workshop organized by FAO Bangladesh and BAU

On January 29, 2025, our Project Execution and Management Lead, S. M. Riaz-us Saleheen, had the opportunity to participate in an Inception Workshop organized by FAO Bangladesh and Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) at the Cotton Development Board, Khamarbari, Dhaka.

During the workshop, he met Mr. Dia Sanou, the Deputy Country Representative of FAO Bangladesh, and had a brief yet meaningful discussion about the World Food Forum Bangladesh Chapter. Mr. Sanou expressed his interest in our initiatives and invited us to visit his office for further discussions—an exciting opportunity to explore future collaborations!

Additionally, he connected with Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Kader, National Lead Agronomist at FAO Bangladesh, whose expertise in sustainable agriculture will undoubtedly add value to our work.

At the World Food Forum Bangladesh Chapter, we are committed to empowering youth and fostering innovative solutions in food and agriculture. This engagement with FAO Bangladesh opens new doors for impactful partnerships and actions.

We look forward to expanding our efforts and collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations. If you’re passionate about youth-driven solutions for food systems, let’s connect and make a difference together!
