World Food Forum Bangladesh organized a webinar on “Youth Consultation Workshop” on 2nd December 2023. Where officials from FAOBangladesh Md. Anaeth Ullah Rafi and from the World Food Forum Md. Abdullah Al Maruf was present and guided the youth to think about the problems and solutions in the agricultural and food sectors. Also, the youth participants from IAAS Bangladesh, FAO Bangladesh Youth Network, ই-কৃষি ক্লিনিক II e-Krishi Clinic,, and others were present at the workshop.
The Youth Consultation Workshop not only provided us with a concept but also helped us to find out what the youths were thinking about the present status of our agriculture sector and sustainable food system. We gained insights into their thoughts and ideas about the problems, as well as their solutions in rural areas. Their creative ideas also helped us come up with new solutions for upcoming issues in this sector. Understanding their interests and ways of thinking helped us plan more effective programs, workshops, and other events based on their interests.
The objective was to spread knowledge of the food system and identify problems related to it from different perspectives. As an outcome, a particular problem was identified based on the discussion, and efforts were made to work collaboratively at the field level to execute the WFF National Chapter in Bangladesh.
