Youth Culture
The World Food Forum (WFF) Bangladesh Youth Culture Program celebrates the rich diversity of cultures, traditions, and knowledge systems that shape agrifood systems around the Bangladesh. It empowers young people to preserve, promote, and reimagine food heritage, traditional agricultural practices, Indigenous knowledge, local cuisines, and cultural expressions as vital components of sustainable development.
By fostering intercultural dialogue, creativity, innovation, and community engagement, the programme encourages youth to connect cultural heritage with modern approaches to food systems transformation. It supports the development of sustainable livelihoods, strengthens local economies, promotes cultural identity and social inclusion, and inspires the next generation to value and protect the cultural, environmental, and historical foundations of agrifood systems. Through collaboration across communities, institutions, and generations, the programme contributes to building resilient, inclusive, and culturally vibrant agrifood systems for the future.
